I always get random ads for realtors and see big advertisements on billboards. From the word of mouth and reviews, I knew Shawn Ryken would take care of me… and also my family!
We needed a housing upgrade so I started off with a phone consultation with Shawn. He took his time and explained to me the process of selling a home and buying a new home. He even went out of his way to get a ball park of what my finances were to get an idea of how much we can afford on a new home. To be honest, my wife and I didn’t hire a realtor to help us with our first home build and I wish we did!
When my wife and I were ready to list our home on the market, we made the appointment. I also give credit to his wife (Amanda) because she also helps out Shawn!
Shawn again took his time to explain the whole process in selling our home and made sure we understood the process and were comfortable moving on.
The biggest thing about real estate is knowing the current housing market. And Shawn definitely knew what was going on! Everyone dreams about making good money from selling their home but we have to understand the reality! You can always dream but you have to accept reality! Shawn supports his findings based on data and comparisons. Shawn is very experienced and knowledgeable! But you also have to do your own part of maintaining your home!
Shawn is always there for you in every process! He also has an awesome photographer to take photos of your home before going live on the market! He takes his time to go over contracts with you in detail to make sure you understand and also answers any questions you have.
Shawn has a heart of gold as he also serves as a Firefighter/Engineer/Paramedic! With that being said, he has extensive knowledge of building construction and can also help you with the pros and cons when finding your new home!
When he is not sleeping or on a 9-1-1 call, he always returns your calls or text message. Trust me, I’ve contacted him odd hours and surprisingly, he always answers back! Even if it’s a stupid question, he always has an answer… or he will an answer for you!
I am pleased that he has helped us sell our house! We are now in the final phase of closing on our new home. We are almost at the finish line and it is all because of Shawn Ryken!
